We want to keep you informed on the progress of Brentingby Meadows Solar Farm

We are keen to answer any questions you may have.

We are progressing with design development, environmental and technical assessment work and have consulted with the public and local stakeholders. We held a public exhibition to share information about our plans and seek feedback from stakeholders and the local community. This drop-in event was held on:

8th April 2025 at Freeby Social Club, Main Street, Freeby, Melton Mowbray, LE14 2RY from 1pm to 7pm.

All comments received during the consultation will be considered when finalising the design and site layout of the development prior to submission of the planning application.

Public consultation is now closed. All responses received during the consultation will be analysed as we refine our proposal ahead of submitting a planning application. A Statement of Community Involvement will accompany the planning application, which will set out the methods used to consult, the views expressed and how these have been considered in relation to the project. Once the planning application is submitted, during the determination period, the local planning authority, Melton Borough Council, will also carry out their own consultation.
